My Research
Leaders and organizations have the power to make a positive difference in the world. They can, and should, cater to the needs of the constituents their organization directly and indirectly impacts. I developed my research program to help them do so.
I study the nexus of environmental sustainability and justice, particularly keeping an eye out for the role of individuals. I investigate topics like environmental justice and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at work, primarily drawing on social psychology theories.
Prior to completing my PhD at the University of Virginia, I worked in environmental non-profits, managing corporate donors and working with campaigners on award-winning sustainability projects.
I am currently a Post-doctoral Research Fellow with Erb Institute at the University of Michigan. I hold a joint-appointment with the Leadership Initiative at the Ford School of Public Policy.
